Christmas Eve Deliveries Menu 2019

£22.50 per head

 

Starters

Lentil, winter vegetable and ham hock soup

 Parsnip, apple and ginger soup (Vegan)

Smooth Chicken liver parfait topped with a redcurrant and cider jelly

Smoked haddock, pea, leek and mature cheddar fishcake with wholegrain mustard mayo 

Mains

Roast Lothian Turkey with sage and chestnut stuffing, kilted sausage and roast gravy

Honey glazed gammon cooked in coke, with a cranberry, orange and pineapple barbecue sauce 

6 hour slow cooked blade of beef topped with haggis and whisky cream sauce 

Quorn, mixed bean and mushroom goulash with sweet potato and carrot mash  (Vegan)

Fillet of Beef Wellington with a wild mushroom pate and Madeira jus (£10 per head supplement)

Vegetables (included) Boiled potatoes, Baton carrots, Sweet red cabbage with sultanas and Christmas spices, Buttered sprouts 

Desserts

Christmas pudding with home made brandy sauce

Chocolate trifle Heaven – Bowl of Baileys soaked Chocolate sponge, chocolate mousse, maltesers, Chocolate custard and whipped cream topped with chocolate brownies

Individual Apple, Maple and Pecan tartlet with an oat nut crumble topping and fresh vanilla pod creme anglaise

Please be aware that some of our dishes do contain nuts and as far as I am aware all produce used is GM free.

Our fresh meat and fish products may contain bones.

The small print but in big writing.

  1. Minimum order is for 4 people and all dishes are supplied in suitable disposable containers.
  2. ***VERY IMPORTANT –  PLEASE NOTE*** Due to time constraints, if you are a party of 4, we are unable to offer less than 4 of a single dish! Please do not order 1 soup, 2 pate, 1 fishcake etc. The exception to this is the Vegetarian Dish as we appreciate that you may not all be vegetarian in your party.  If you have a party of 5 upwards then we will accept 4 soup, 1 pate, 4 turkey, 1 beef etc. Please contact us before ordering for clarification.  
  3. You are asked to choose one dish per course per 4 people. For example if there are 8 people dining then you could mix and match with 2 dishes if you like and 12 people 3 dishes etc. 
  4. Bookings are confirmed subject to receiving the completed booking form which is a binding document between yourselves and WoodFood Limited. Payment shall be made in full at time of delivery or by bank transfer on request.
  5. Those that have not ordered previously or are unknown to us, may be invoiced £10 per head deposit to be settled by bank transfer before booking is confirmed
  6. Deliveries are within Edinburgh, East and Mid Lothian only and subject to a £5 delivery charge per order.  
  7. Full cooking/reheating instructions shall be provided in writing on delivery
  8. All food, once delivered should be chilled in a fridge and held a temperature between 1-4
  9. Closing date for orders is Thursday 12th December with one hour time slot notified by Monday 16th December for delivery on Christmas Eve. Deliveries should be between 07.00 and 16.00
  10. By agreeing to order from us, It is of the understanding that Craig Wood Catering Limited holds no responsibility in the event of ill effects due to failing to follow the correct instructions supplied or holding at the required temperature
