Christmas Deliveries

A few changes this year. We will deliver on Sunday 22nd December. Certain dishes will be delivered frozen to defrost in your fridge.

We kindly ask that all orders are paid on delivery by cash or cheque

Lentil, ham hock and winter vegetable soup    FROZEN

Chicken and duck liver parfait topped with redcurrant and orange jelly 

Haggis Fritter with a creamy pepper sauce 

Mains

Roast Lothian Turkey with Apricot and sage stuffing, kilted sausage and roast gravy  FROZEN

Blade of Beef in a Borguignon sauce, creamy mash, roast parsnips  FROZEN

Goats cheese, squash and mushroom pithivier with fresh tomato sauce  FROZEN

Vegetables – will be supplied for you to cook – Small baby potatoes, Whole carrots and parsnips for roasting, Brussel sprouts

Christmas pudding with home made brandy sauce

Home made Chocolate Brownie with salted caramel sauce

HOMEMADE STEAK PIES

Steak pies are not available to order on their own.

1lb  – £10 (serves 2-3)    2lb – £19.00 (serves 4-5)    3lb – £27  (serves 6-7)

Please be aware that some of our dishes may contain nuts and as far as I am aware all produce used is GM free.

Our fresh meat and fish products may contain bones.

All our dishes can be adapted to suit most dietary requirements.  Please message for further information and advice 

The small print but in big writing.

  1. All prices include VAT at standard rate 
  2. Minimum order is for 4 people and all dishes are supplied in suitable disposable containers
  3. Just order what you want – No minimum numbers of each dish 
  4. Bookings are confirmed subject to receiving the completed booking form which is a binding document between yourselves and Craig Wood Catering Limited. Payment shall be made in full at time of delivery in cash or cheque – No payment then no food I am afraid 
  5. Those that have not ordered previously or are unknown to us, may be invoiced £10 per head deposit to be settled by bank transfer before booking is confirmed
  6. Deliveries are within East Lothian only (Tranent/Prestonpans and East from there) and subject to a £5  delivery charge per order.  
  7. We reserve the right to offer to meet us somewhere if the delivery is out with our planned route
  8. Full cooking/reheating instructions shall be provided in writing on delivery
  9. All food is delivered on 22nd December in oven ready containers and once delivered should be chilled in a fridge and held at a temperature between 1-4
  10. Collections shall be available from our unit at 61 Peffer Place, Edinburgh, EH16 4BB between 08.00 and 09.00
  11. Closing date for orders is Saturday 30th November or if we are full before then,  with one hour time slot notified by Thursday 12th December for delivery on Christmas Eve. Deliveries should be between 08.00 and 15.00
  12. By agreeing to order from us, It is of the understanding that Craig Wood Catering limited hold no responsibility in the event of ill effects due to failing to follow the correct instructions supplied or holding at the required temperature
