Christmas Deliveries

Apologies, but we will not be offering our Christmas Eve delivery service this year, Back next year. Menus are available online on 1 September each year until we are fully booked. On behalf of all at Craig Wood Catering, Have a very Merry Christmas

Lentil, winter vegetable and ham hock soup 

Vegetable broth (vegan)

 Brie, cranberry and walnut filo parcels 

Chicken liver, garlic and brandy pate 

Grazing Platter (minimum 4) – Chicken liver parfait with red onion marmalade. Melting Camembert cheese with honey and hazelnuts. Roasted red pepper, maple and lime Hummus.  Haggis samosas with sweet chilli sauce. Home made artisan bread and oatcakes (£2.50 per head supplement)


Roast Lothian Turkey with sage and chestnut stuffing, kilted sausage and roast gravy

Seabass fillet on a sauté potato Lyonnaise with smoked salmon and broccoli cream sauce 

Filo basket filled with roast beetroot, squash, carrot and red onions set on a mushroom and garlic cream (can be vegan)

Fillet of Beef Wellington with a wild mushroom pate and Madeira jus (minimum 2 and £10 per head supplement)

Vegetables (included) Boiled potatoes, Baton carrots, Sweet red cabbage with sultanas and Christmas spices, Buttered sprouts 


Christmas pudding with home made brandy sauce

Biscoff Cheesecake topped with rich Belgian chocolate ganache and caramelised peanuts

Please be aware that some of our dishes do contain nuts and as far as I am aware all produce used is GM free.

Our fresh meat and fish products may contain bones.

The small print but in big writing.

  1. Minimum order is for 4 people and all dishes are supplied in suitable disposable containers
  2. Just order what you want – No minimum numbers of each dish (except the grazing platter)
  3. Bookings are confirmed subject to receiving the completed booking form which is a binding document between yourselves and WoodFood Limited. Payment shall be made in full at time of delivery or by bank transfer.  Bank transfers must be completed by 1 December 2021 if this is your preferred method of paying.  Please message for your invoice total and bank details.
  4. Those that have not ordered previously or are unknown to us, may be invoiced £10 per head deposit to be settled by bank transfer before booking is confirmed
  5. Deliveries are within East and Mid Lothian only and subject to a £5 delivery charge per order.  We can arrange to meet at a designated time at our boundaries should this be of interest
  6. Full cooking/reheating instructions shall be provided in writing on delivery
  7. All food is delivered on Christmas Eve in oven ready containers and once delivered should be chilled in a fridge and held a temperature between 1-4
  8. Collections shall be available from our unit at 61 Peffer Place, Edinburgh, EH16 4BB between 09.00 and 14.00
  9. Closing date for orders is Saturday 11th December or if we are full before then,  with one hour time slot notified on Wednesday 15th December for delivery on Christmas Eve. Deliveries should be between 07.00 and 15.00
  10. By agreeing to order from us, It is of the understanding that Craig Wood Catering limited or WoodFood Limited hold no responsibility in the event of ill effects due to failing to follow the correct instructions supplied or holding at the required temperature
